Project Cost Manager

Our organization is seeking a skilled Project Cost Manager to oversee large-scale project costs. The successful candidate will have expertise in interpreting architectural drawings and conducting rate analyses, as well as preparing Bills of Material. This role ensures the profitability of our projects through effective cost tracking and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret drawings to prepare detailed cost estimations
  • Utilize specialized software for planning and estimation
  • Liaise with vendors, analyze costs, and manage procurement inquiries
  • Conduct site visits to understand challenges and validate costs
  • Monitor project progress and maintain updated pricing
  • Document best practices and ensure compliance with relevant policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience in project costing/estimation (construction preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, specialized software, and analytical tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Relevant degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed
