Cloud Application Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to join our technology team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and strong DevOps skills. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on GCP, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or Deployment Manager, collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers, setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools, ensuring applications are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in the cloud environment, supporting containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, etc.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security practices in the cloud.
  • GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer or DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management is a plus.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
