Job Title: Senior Software Development Manager - Investment Management

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our software development team in the investment management industry.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and inspire a team of software developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy, aligning it with the organization's business objectives and long-term vision.
* Oversee the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices.
* Participate in architectural decision-making to design scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.
* Demonstrate a strong technical background with proficiency in application development using a variety of technologies, including Python, React, C#, .NET, ETL, BI, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
* Collaborate with executive leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs, provide technical insights, and align software development efforts with organizational goals.
* Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects.
* Promote agile methodologies and project management principles to improve development processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

* At least 15+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience in leadership or management roles.
* Proven track record of successfully managing software development teams, architecting solutions, and delivering projects in the investment management industry or a similar financial domain.
* Strong technical background with expertise in application development using technologies like Python, React, C#, .NET, ETL, BI, cloud technologies.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Thorough understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management principles.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
