iOS Developer

Job Description:

As a highly skilled iOS developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications for iOS devices. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient, scalable, and secure code that meets the latest industry standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing mobile applications using Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
  • Developing and maintaining iOS frameworks such as Core Location, MapKit, and Core Data.
  • Ensuring the stability and performance of mobile applications by identifying and resolving production issues.
  • Providing technical support to clients and communicating effectively with them regarding technical issues and capabilities/limitations of iOS.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
  • Expertise in iOS frameworks such as Core Location, MapKit, and Core Data.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of accessibility issues on iOS.
  • Deep understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Experience in releasing apps via the store and other distribution methods.
  • Knowledge of common iOS frameworks (Foundation, Core Location, UIKit, MapKit, CoreData, CoreGraphics, CoreAnimation, Security Framework, Keychain)
  • Competency with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Knowledge of iOS App State transitions.
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization will be valued.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT and SVN).
  • Knowledge of best practices in continuous integration will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding and experience of Agile development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of Flutter will be an advantage.
