Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Software Test Engineer.

This position involves utilizing automated testing techniques to ensure software quality and integrity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automation testing, as well as proficiency in Cypress.io and/or Playwright.

  • Key responsibilities include delivering automated tests using core technologies, creating comprehensive test documentation, defining test scope for the tested area and identifying potential risks, developing and improving QA processes, providing support to other team members and leading technical discussions.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people, experience with API testing using Postman, ability to mentor and guide junior testers, hands-on experience with databases or advanced Excel, and knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services, and programming languages like TypeScript and NodeJS.

Required Skills
  • 6+ years of commercial experience in manual and automation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation.
  • Proficient in Cypress.io and/or Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming languages.
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques and experience with manual testing.
  • Knowledge of good testing practices and ability to apply them in a practical way.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior testers.
  • Hands-on experience with databases or advanced Excel.
  • Experience working with large datasets or customer bases.
  • Root cause analysis and test reporting expertise.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services, and programming languages like TypeScript and NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of Python or Java is an added advantage.
