Key Leadership Role in Physiotherapy Education

As the Principal of a leading Physiotherapy College, you will provide visionary academic and administrative leadership to drive excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Academic Leadership
    • Develop and implement comprehensive academic programs aligned with University and UGC norms.
    • Supervise curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment to ensure quality education.
    • Guide faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums to enhance reputation.
    • Ensure effective clinical training and integration with hospital services for students' practical experience.
  • Effective Administration & Management
    • Oversee day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy College/Department with focus on efficiency and productivity.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (UGC, State Council, University guidelines) to maintain accreditation standards.
    • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff performance to optimize talent utilization.
    • Prepare budgets and manage resources effectively to ensure infrastructure adequacy.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards (NABH, NAAC, etc.) through regular audits and inspections.
    • Maintain accurate records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities for decision-making purposes.
    • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership
    • Build strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies to enhance learning opportunities.
    • Organize workshops, CMEs, and conferences to promote knowledge sharing and exposure among stakeholders.
    • Engage with parents, students, and alumni to foster institutional reputation and loyalty.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Education: MPT / Ph.D. in Physiotherapy (specialization desirable in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory).
    • Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
