Technical Content Creator

The Staff Technical Writer will play a key role in defining content strategy for multiple applications, specifying the information architecture, textual content, and multimedia assets required to help customers achieve their goals.
- Create an effective content strategy by outlining the required components including the information architecture, textual content, and multimedia elements.
- Manage the execution of the content strategy by producing high-quality technical content and coordinating efforts with subject matter experts, reviewers, multimedia content producers, and other writers.
- Utilize expertise in the ServiceNow product ecosystem and knowledge of specific users and applications to influence product strategy and create engaging content experiences that drive customer success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as technical writing, English, journalism, or rhetoric.
- Understanding of content development life cycles and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in technical communication.
- Samples of prior technical writing work demonstrating ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience authoring in DITA, Markdown, or another structured authoring system.
- Leadership experience in defining content strategies and managing content development projects for new products or large applications requiring multiple writers.
