Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Operations Specialist to join our team at RP Goenka International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, contributing to a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, talent management, employee relations, performance management, staff development, and ensuring compliance with all legal & educational regulations.

This role requires a proactive, service-oriented approach, with the ability to foster a positive and supportive work culture for a diverse, multicultural team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Drive the recruitment process for academic and non-academic staff by implementing recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified potential educators and professionals from around the globe.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for personnel, addressing complex HR-related inquiries and concerns with discretion, and strategic problem-solving for both employees and potential hires.
  • Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure the clear communication, accessibility, and consistent implementation of HR policies, fostering transparency, compliance, and informed decision-making among staff.
  • Staff Wellbeing: Implementation and execution of comprehensive wellness initiatives and programs in discussion with Special educators, fostering a supportive and holistic environment that enhances staff well-being, engagement, and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field. A Master's degree in HR or Business is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HR management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments, particularly in a fast-paced, evolving educational setting.
