Senior Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data distribution and integration solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into implementable solutions using Azure platform. You will have hands-on experience with Azure stack, including Azure storage Gen2, and proficient coding experience using Spark (Scala/Python) and T-SQL.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across the data pipeline
  • Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of work experience in cloud deployments, specifically in MS Azure, and excellent problem-solving skills. If you are passionate about data engineering and have a strong desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering with Azure stack
  • Hands-on experience with Azure storage Gen2 and Azure Data Factory
  • Proficient coding experience using Spark (Scala/Python) and T-SQL
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL development
