At a leading organization, we are seeking an experienced Security Leader to head our DevSecOps initiative.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in implementing and managing security practices and tools within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of security into the DevOps lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive security strategies to address infrastructure and security requirements
  • Develop and manage automated security testing processes, integrated into CI/CD pipelines
  • Oversee security incidents, including monitoring, analysis, and response
  • Align security practices with project goals across development, operations, and security teams

The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps, security engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience and 3 years of people management experience. They will also possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field.

We are looking for an individual with expertise in vulnerability scanning and assessment tools, such as Snyk and InsightAppSec, and familiarity with security services like Wiz, SIEM, SOC, and SentinelOne. Additionally, they should have skills in managing security incidents and conducting threat analysis, as well as knowledge of API Security, Container Security, and AWS Cloud Security.

A strong understanding of compliance standards and policies, such as HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA, is essential, along with relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, and AWS Certified Security Specialty.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
