Database Architect Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join our team and take on a critical role in shaping the future of our data infrastructure.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled database professional who can design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, architecture, and development, with experience working with relational and NoSQL databases. They will be responsible for designing and implementing database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Design & Architecture: Design and develop scalable and highly available database architectures using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Snowflake.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze and resolve performance issues across database environments, refactor inefficient queries, and recommend index strategies or schema redesigns.
  • Data Modeling & Integration: Develop robust data models and integrate them into ETL pipelines using Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow, and SSIS.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide technical guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in database administration, architecture, and development.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow, and SSIS.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
