**Project Lead: Strategic Logistics Expert**

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, from identifying competitive partners to building efficient and cost-optimal solutions.

 

  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including purchase, finance, legal, taxation, IS/IT HR, real estate, safety/security and business units.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy, focusing on capacity planning for inventory and operations, defining layout and material handling equipment requirements, and planning project phases and milestones.

  • Design and implement an end-to-end IT solution for logistics operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, 3PLs, and transporters to negotiate competitive pricing and services.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in implementing greenfield aftersales warehouse/logistics end-to-end projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale logistics projects with expertise in OEM automotive vertical (2W/4W).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex logistical data and develop effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.

  • Strategic thinking and planning skills, with ability to develop and implement long-term logistics strategies.
