**Job Title:** Freelance Data Scientist with SAS Experience

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Data Scientist with expertise in SAS to join our team of data-driven professionals. As a key member, you will leverage your technical skills and experience to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain predictive models using SAS and Python programming languages.
  2. Lead the migration of existing SAS code to optimized Python equivalents, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define modeling standards, workflows, and performance monitoring frameworks.
  4. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Python adoption, coding best practices, and analytics workflows.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAS, including Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, and PROC SQL.
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques, including regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, and causal inference.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration from SAS to Python, with proven success stories.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders and deliver high-impact results.
Work Arrangement:

This is a part-time opportunity, requiring approximately 35 hours of work per week. The role can be performed remotely, and compensation will be paid out monthly.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in data science or a related field and possess a current 100% remote job arrangement. If selected, this opportunity will continue for an extended period, providing stability and growth opportunities.
