We are seeking an experienced Information Security expert to lead our research and development initiatives. This individual will play a key role in shaping our security posture and protecting our assets.
Responsibilities- Assess and understand our current network, cloud, and application setup.
- Research and evaluate emerging technology solutions to meet security requirements.
- Develop risk scenarios and recommended actions based on threat landscape analysis.
- Present research findings, reports, and advisories to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and enhance security awareness.
- Analyze logs, perform forensics, malware analysis, and network traffic analysis to determine new attack scenarios.
- Evaluate new tools, processes, procedures, and technologies to improve security posture and recommend best practices.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D, preferably in Cyber Security or Threat Intelligence.
- Proven operational experience in installing security platforms and understanding underlying challenges to minimize business impact.
- Ability to create and improve security strategies across various threat areas.
- Experience in process automation, knowledge sharing, and training others.
- Expertise in designing and writing scripts/programs from scratch using at least one programming language.
- Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- A self-driven individual contributor who can take initiative to drive results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. Any degree/certification in Cyber/Information Security, Forensics, Analytics, or equivalent is preferred. A total of 10+ years of experience is desired.
