Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and architect community to design and develop pragmatic solutions for real-world problems in IoT products for grid technologies.
  • Guide scrum teams during the conception, design, and review of fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Contribute to technical planning and help the business create a technical roadmap to stay competitive.
  • Drive the culture of making conscientious technical decisions to balance business requirements, development resources, and long-term technical targets.
  • Define, control, and refine the technical roadmap together with in-house and external solution architects.
  • Ensure quality standards of architecture and relevant user documentation.
  • Make key contributions to the Board concerning continuous improvement, proactive maintenance, and unification of Cloud and Edge platforms.
  • Jointly define infrastructure boundary conditions with relevant Board members and DevOps team.
  • Help the Board upkeep technical quality gates to ensure product KPIs are properly met.
  • Coordinate adaptation or replacement of existing software libraries with Board members and domain authorities.
  • Estimate effort of the team's backlog items together with product owners and relevant Board members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Long-term working experience as a solution/system architect or tech lead in a team with hands-on coding and software design experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud (AWS) and Edge Computing, industrial IoT, and DevOps practices.
  • Validated skills of modern industrial and IoT communication protocols.
  • Broad knowledge in mainstream backend programming languages and frontend frameworks.
  • Broad knowledge of container orchestration tools.
  • Broad knowledge in cybersecurity, vulnerability scanning, and tracking.
  • Dedicated, shown management, organizational, and communication skills as well as business English skills.
