Job Title: Software Quality Assurance SpecialistDescription

A software quality assurance specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications. This involves executing thorough testing, identifying defects, and reporting them to development teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, including test cycles (Regression, Functional, Systems, User Acceptance). They should be experienced in developing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans to support various development methodologies.

Key responsibilities include designing and building automated tests, identifying regression testing needs, and maintaining an Automated Regression Suite. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design test cases that need to be automated.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Java or Python programming languages
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, and other automation tools
  • Detailed written communication skills for documenting features tested and bugs found
  • Ability to take up technical challenges and work under pressure

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a software quality professional, familiarity with JIRA, GIT, SQL, and databases, and knowledge of BDD framework or Cucumber framework.
