Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at AECOM. The successful candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, with experience in delivering projects in the private or public sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage small to medium landscape design projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Produce technical reports, drawings, and other deliverables to the highest standard, using industry-leading software and tools.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and productivity across the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our services and client offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's skills and capabilities, mentoring and coaching junior colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability, meeting or exceeding client expectations and AECOM's quality assurance policies.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of our landscape architecture services.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a reputable university.
  • At least 9 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects in the private or public sectors.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution, such as the Landscape Institute.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in industry-leading software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel, with occasional work on client sites or in other locations as required.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
