Key Role: Treasury Business Analyst

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering collaboration between ITD and TRE, requiring expertise in treasury business analysis to support the Banks treasury management business.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Establish effective relationships between ITD and TRE, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of efforts.
  2. Cultivate strong partnerships with various teams across the Bank to gather insights and identify opportunities for improving treasury applications and work processes.
  3. Optimize approaches and build consistency in demand analysis, requirement prioritization, solution evaluation, and delivery of treasury management solutions, ensuring stakeholder needs are met while introducing adaptive measures to sustain responsiveness to evolving demands.
  4. Support Project Managers in business analysis activities to develop systems and solutions for all treasury management applications, tailoring parameters, functionalities, and features to meet project requirements and specific operational contexts, thereby ensuring effectiveness, adaptability, and usability.
  5. Lead the exercise of gathering and prioritizing business requirements related to treasury, conducting business process modelling, impact analysis, and feasibility studies, and proposing solutions for treasury business units. Assist in solution design and full project cycle delivery.
  6. Provide guidance and training to management and staff on adapting treasury management applications, taking into account diverse operational needs and contexts to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities also include collaborating closely with various IT teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of IT requirements when implementing new products and services to business users and maintaining a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, an additional 2 years of relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a bank's treasury function, such as asset liability management, front/middle/back-office treasury management.
  • Demonstrated capacity gained through education and experience in the treasury management business, reflecting conceptual understanding across operational settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the treasury business and the integration of different elements into the treasury management portfolio.
  • Familiarity with financial products, including term deposits, bonds, FX, derivatives, structured products, bond issuance, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in gathering and defining requirements, creating detailed specifications, managing process flows, and developing business use case scenarios.
  • Good understanding of process modelling, agile, and waterfall IT system rollout methodologies.
  • Fluency in English essential for effective communication in writing and speaking.
  • Strong business and technology acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated skills gained through exposure/experience in relationship management.
  • Engage stakeholders proactively to define expectations/needs and build an informed framework for service delivery.
