About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wells Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As a key member of our Wells organization, you will be responsible for providing engineering support in drilling, completions, and well performance areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality assurance and control activities associated with equipment manufacturing processes.
  • Advise wells teams on procurement decisions to mitigate operational risks and ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Review and approve supplier quality control plans and inspection test plans.
  • Collaborate with wells procurement teams to incorporate quality exhibits into tender documentation packages.
  • Steward supplier evaluation and assessments, facility qualification, and API Q1 compliance audits.
  • Provide direction and oversight to third-party inspectors for the manufacture, inspection, and test of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure appropriate budget allocation for third-party inspection agencies.
  • Assist wells engineering staff with nonconformance reports and requests for exception.
  • Support root cause failure analysis and monitor the implementation of corrective actions at supplier manufacturing facilities.
  • Maintain a list of quality catches recorded during equipment manufacturing activities.
  • Review TPI inspection reports and ensure outstanding concerns are addressed by suppliers.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in quality assurance and control. You should have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas production industry.
