Backend Systems Architect

We are seeking an experienced Backend Systems Architect to design and build scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in NestJS framework, TypeScript, GraphQL API design, and implementation, with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Azure cloud architecture.

You will play a key role in performance tuning, scaling applications, ensuring high unit test coverage (90–95%), and delivering enterprise-grade solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend applications using NestJS and TypeScript.
  • Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Ensure 90–95% unit test coverage for all code developed.
  • Conduct performance tuning, scalability improvements, and debugging.


Requirements:
  • 8–10 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in NestJS framework, preferably.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets.
