Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.

Your primary focus will be on creating efficient and scalable data processing solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that drive business value.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in cloud-based data engineering, with a focus on AWS services such as Aurora/RDS, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, EMR, Step Functions, Cloud Trail, and Cloud Watch.
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Extensive experience in relational database design and development, with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data quality issues.
