Job Title: Professional Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences with our products and services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and owning customer goals, milestones, initiatives, and issues from start to resolution.
  • Implementing our software in customers' environments.
  • Maintaining and operating our software in customers' environments to achieve customer objectives.
  • Developing custom reports for customers using our software data and integrating it with other data repositories.
  • Integrating our software with applications and processes within customers' environments using APIs and automation development.
  • Diagnosing problems and providing resolutions for technical and product issues.
  • Advising and educating customers to ensure complete solutions to technical or product issues.
  • Delivering positive customer experiences according to our standards.
  • Writing knowledge base articles for customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
  • Evaluating and escalating complex customer technical issues to product and development teams while maintaining customer communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in professional services in a client/server software environment.
  • Thorough understanding and project management skills for professional services.
  • Storage hardware and software knowledge of NAS and Object systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, Azure, AWS, etc).
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience creating complex Kibana, Tableau, and PowerBI reports and dashboards.
  • Network setup/routing with mixed LAN/WAN operating system environments and DNS/WINS/DHCP/DFS knowledge.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across the organisation.
  • Collaborative teamwork and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in professional services in a client/server software environment.
  • Customer relationship management tool experience.
  • Elasticsearch and SQL/PostgreSQL experience.
  • Knowledge of current trends and advancements in storage solutions.
  • Data management and migration experience.
  • Data Discovery, Data Science – OCR, NLP, Computer Vision, AI, Keyword search, Regex knowledge.
  • Data Governance & Regulations – GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc., knowledge.
  • Microservices-based application experience.
