About this Role

Building a digital health platform that powers hospitals, doctors, patients, labs, and IoT devices is an ambitious undertaking. At the heart of this project lies scalability, efficiency, and interoperability.

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team in building scalable APIs and microservices that enable this healthcare experience. This individual will work on real-world challenges at scale and grow with the product from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend microservices for hospital workflows, patient records, lab integrations, and billing systems.
  • Design and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs for mobile apps and hospital dashboards.
  • Work with databases and object storage to manage large-scale health data securely and efficiently.
  • Implement FHIR-based data exchange for seamless interoperability with national health APIs.
  • Ensure robust security, consent, and compliance in every data flow.
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to deliver role-based applications.
  • Participate in training, code reviews, and deployment cycles.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasts with strong fundamentals in coding, computer science, databases, and API integration.
  • Familiarity with Node.js / Python programming languages.
  • Ability to think independently, learn quickly, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Excited to work on multiple modules rather than a single application.
  • Open to structured training before taking on live projects.

Engagement Terms:

  • A 6-month renewable contract, following initial 2-month training.
