Senior Data Visualization Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Visualization Developer to join our team.

This role is perfect for those who love crafting intuitive, inclusive experiences at the intersection of design, accessibility, and technology.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop accessible, interactive data visualizations using React, Raphael JS, and SVG, aligned with WCAG & ARIA standards.
  • Ensure clean, semantic, accessible code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Conduct thorough accessibility testing (automated tools like Axe, Wave, Lighthouse, plus manual testing).
  • Collaborate with design and UX teams to create tools that are both visually engaging and fully usable.
  • Document accessibility practices and maintain consistent guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with emerging accessibility standards and visualization best practices.
About You
  • You have 3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally with visualization tools.
  • You possess strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.
  • You are proficient in Raphael JS and SVG for building data visualizations.
  • You have a solid understanding of WCAG and ARIA standards.
  • You have experience with Git or other version control systems.

  • Experience with user research or usability testing for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with additional data visualization frameworks/libraries.
  • Contributions to open-source accessibility efforts or active involvement in related communities.
