Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in 4G/5G cellular certification and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading device testing, automation framework development, and managing end-to-end certification cycles.

The role involves performing manual and automated testing of 4G/5G protocol, RF, and application-level functionalities. Additionally, the candidate will lead and execute certification testing processes including PTCRB, GCF, FCC, and carrier certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual and automated testing of 4G/5G protocol, RF, and application-level functionalities.
  • Lead and execute certification testing processes including PTCRB, GCF, FCC, and carrier certifications.
  • Design and implement automation test scripts and frameworks for cellular device testing.
  • Conduct regression, stability, IOT (Interoperability Testing), and field testing using test tools and automation setups.
  • Debug and analyze logs using QXDM, QCAT, QTRACE, Wireshark, and similar tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in 4G/5G mobile device testing and certification.
  • Experience with PTCRB, GCF, FCC, and at least one US carrier certification process.
  • Strong understanding of LTE, LTE-A, 5G NR (NSA/SA), VoLTE, VoNR technologies.
  • Proficiency in using test tools such as Anritsu, Keysight, R&S, Spirent, etc.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and scripting languages (preferably Python, but Shell, Perl, or JavaScript also valued).
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working with major chipset vendors (Qualcomm, MediaTek, etc.).
  • Prior work on test automation frameworks for embedded/mobile device testing.
