Database Modernization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Modernization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the modernization of our legacy database systems.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to analyze existing databases, design and implement modern database solutions, and ensure seamless data migration and integration.
  • You will work with AWS services, including RDS and DynamoDB, to support the modernization project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand existing legacy database systems.
  • Work with AWS services, including RDS and DynamoDB, to support the modernization project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document database requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency during the migration process.
  • Optimize database performance and scalability.
  • Conduct database testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the modernized database systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role in a legacy modernization project.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle.
  • Experience with AWS services, particularly RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand legacy database systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
