Lead Aviation Engineer Opportunity

The role of a Lead Aviation Engineer is crucial in the development and growth of our Indian office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing airfield civil engineering projects from concept to detailed design and construction support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead for airfield civil engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery and providing leadership to junior team members.
  • Manage project planning, execution, and monitoring to meet client deadlines and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for airfield engineering projects.
  • Participate in design reviews, identify and manage design risks, and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support project managers by contributing to project progress monitoring and implementing project controls.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in civil engineering, particularly in airport projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with international airfield design standards, such as ICAO and FAA.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant airfield engineering design software packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts, such as NEC 4.
