Job Title: Transition Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Transition Manager, responsible for supporting end-to-end transition solutions and working on various initiatives related to enhancing the framework, automation, and process libraries.

  • Overall responsibility to support transition solution and sizing for various projects.
  • Support global application transition programs in complex and challenging environments.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge, expertise, and experience in working on global application transition programs in complex and challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HCLTech's transition framework, tools, and accelerators are followed.
  • Help create week-on-week transition ramp-up and provide complete inputs for transition plans based on cost and effort models.
  • Participate in internal reviews to get the transition solution ready.
  • Support the creation of transition-related content and presentations for clients' bid defense.
  • Support in due-diligence exercises.
  • Support Transition Managers in management, performance, and execution of the Transition Program.
  • Support standard methodology, deliverables, and approach are followed for transition execution.
  • Monitor progress of transition plan and the associated tasks and responsibilities against the transition schedule, timelines, and milestones.
  • Take minutes for transition cadence meetings.
  • Support Transition Managers identify, monitor, and manage any risks or issues via an updated Transition Risk Register and take appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
  • Help Transition Managers ensure Critical Milestones and deliverables are identified and completed on time.
  • Monitor, track, and report against the transition resource ramp-up plan.
  • Work with various cross-functional track leads for the successful execution of program/tower.
  • Support in tracking program/tower level issues with delivery teams and client stakeholders.
  • Support transition closure activities as per the framework.

Must-have Competencies:

  • Demonstrate good project management skills and experience of working on at least 1 application transition projects.
  • Logical mindset and ability to learn.
  • Experience with Office Suits (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams).
  • Must have a collaborative mindset and develop amicable working relationships with teams.
  • Possess effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 1 year of transition experience.
  • Educational Qualifications – MBA.
  • Scrum/ Agile/ PMP/ ITIL/ Six Sigma certification (good to have).
