Job Title: Software Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software automation specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Develop scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  • Write clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin (if required).
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.
Eligibility Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation, preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios (if tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber).
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
