Industrial Automation Tester

As an Industrial Automation Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Smart Manufacturing Factory platform delivers exceptional results for clients worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure efficient testing.
  2. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies.
  3. Automate web-based application testing using Selenium or Playwright frameworks.
  4. Perform API testing using REST Assured tools to guarantee backend services functionality and stability.
  5. Utilize Git and GitHub for version control to manage test scripts and collaborate with the team.
  6. Manage test cases, defects, and projects efficiently using JIRA.
  7. Work with Docker containers to set up and manage test environments.
  8. Test on both Windows and Linux operating systems to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
  9. Apply TDD and BDD principles to create robust and maintainable test scripts.
  10. Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts and tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in Python.
  • Solid understanding and experience with Playwright automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
  • Knowledge of Docker and ability to work with containers.
  • Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies.
