Garment Specialist

As a highly skilled Tailor & Pattern Maker, you will play a critical role in translating AI-generated clothing visuals into production-ready garment specifications. This position involves converting concept to construct, ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of fit, quality, and style.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting AI-generated fashion designs into detailed technical packs with accurate measurements and construction guidelines. You will develop specification sheets covering sizing, fabric type, seam construction, trims, and finishing techniques.

Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with pattern makers, production, and design teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability. You will establish quality control checkpoints across sampling and production stages, conduct inspections for measurements, workmanship, and finish during pre-production and post-production reviews.

Audit in-house fabrics and trims; approve only materials meeting quality standards. Set clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction techniques across garments.

• 5+ years of experience in garment tech or production development in a fashion house or boutique.
• Strong technical expertise in fit, finishing, and fabric behavior.
• Prior experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments is essential.
• Proficiency in creating spec packs, sample reviews, and garment construction assessments.
• Eye for detail, precision in communication, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
