Senior Manager Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains organization reputation by conforming to Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and keeping information confidential.
  • Drives significant business outcomes by selling a substantial amount of work to be completed by self and others in the line of business (LOB).
  • Contributes to overall organizational objectives by adding to databases, setting up libraries, specializing in niche real estate markets, mentoring trainees, and engaging in client development.
  • Identifies value to be estimated by talking with clients regarding appraisal requests, problems to be solved, and scope of projects.
  • Determines valuation methods by selecting approaches and techniques for valuing properties.
  • Researches and analyzes property information by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data regarding inventories of competitive properties, sales and listings, vacancies and offerings, absorption rates, demand studies, social, economic, governmental, and environmental characteristics, restrictions, encumbrances, covenants, contracts, declarations, special assessments, ordinances, costs and depreciation, income/expense and capitalization rates, histories of ownership, and uses of properties.
  • Prepares appraisal reports by describing physical and economic property characteristics, appraisal procedures used, and information analyzed.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking current real estate values and property development potential.
