AWS Cloud Engineer Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing and managing scalable, secure cloud-based systems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, IAM Roles, CloudWatch and others. They will also possess hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.

In addition, they will have expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker, as well as knowledge of EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and ECS (Elastic Container Service). Proficiency with Jenkins for building and deploying applications is also essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement microservices architectures, utilizing Git and version control best practices. Experience with monitoring and logging, big data technologies, and on-prem to AWS cloud migration is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, IAM Roles, CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker.
  • Knowledge of EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and ECS (Elastic Container Service).
  • Proficiency with Jenkins for building and deploying applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and on-prem to AWS cloud migration.
  • Good knowledge in Java is a plus.
