We are a leading NBFC that requires an experienced IT Data Security and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our company's IT systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security and compliance, with experience working in an NBFC environment. You will be responsible for implementing and managing IT compliance programs, overseeing IT governance, and developing information security policies.

  • Implement IT Compliance: Ensure IT security standards are applied in the software development lifecycle, manage agreements and SLAs with IT partners, and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage IT Governance: Oversee the IT governance framework, ensuring it aligns with corporate governance and supports business strategies and objectives.
  • Information and Cyber Security: Develop and implement information security policies, conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and manage cyber incident response and recovery.
  • IT Operations Management: Oversee the setup, configuration, and security of both physical and virtual servers, ensuring they are protected with the latest technology and managing all related security services and equipment.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the company can continue operations in the event of a disruption.
  • IT Audit and Assurance: Conduct regular IT audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and provide assurance on the effectiveness of IT controls.
  • Third-Party Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they comply with security and compliance requirements.
  • Staff Development: Foster a cohesive team through leadership, training, and development, and drive productivity improvements through proactive management and technology-based analysis.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT security and compliance, preferably in an NBFC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and driving project initiatives.
