Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

We are a leading corporate law firm with a dynamic and independent lawyer to join our international team.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to high-quality legal work in a remote setup.

You will primarily support our corporate team on US law-related work, including:

  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Corporate Finance
  • Venture Capital
  • Fund Formation and Representation
  • Specialty International Commercial Work

Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advocate in India with at least 1 year PQE
  • LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school (or equivalent) ranked in the top 20%
  • Previous experience with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India in M&A, Private Equity, or General Corporate practice
  • Ability to independently evaluate complex legal issues and provide solutions in simple English to clients, both orally and in writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess potential for risk and opportunity
  • Proven team player with demonstrated teamwork, analytical, and consultation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under their own initiative with a very strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail with stellar drafting skills
  • Able to work under pressure and/or tight timelines in a fluid/fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, Word etc.)
