Job Title: Senior Observability Engineer

This is a long-term contract position with one of the largest global technology leaders. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

About this Job
  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the development and implementation of synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms and defining onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources.
  • In addition, they will integrate observability tooling (Catchpoint, Dynatrace) to deliver unified insights and evaluate emerging technologies to develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement scalable observability platforms that drive business value and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  2. Lead the adoption of APM tooling and embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures to enhance application performance and user experience.
  3. Develop and maintain robust monitoring solutions that provide real-time visibility into application performance and behavior.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement monitoring strategies that meet business needs.
  5. Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions to stay ahead of the curve.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
