We are searching for an experienced AWS Cloud Security Specialist to ensure the integrity and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux/Unix Administration, understanding of network topologies, and experience with AWS Services.
The role involves system troubleshooting and problem solving across platforms and application domains. We are seeking someone with experience in SQL and MariaDB, as well as knowledge of web servers, databases, and their optimization parameters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing AWS cloud-based production systems to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security. They will also be involved in building, releasing, and configuring management of production systems using automation/configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef.
We require a minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with 2+ years of experience using a broad range of AWS Services. Solid experience in automation with configuration management tools is essential.
A hands-on approach to creating new accounts, setting up VPCs, Load Balancers, and Target groups is necessary. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and bash are also required. Experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Datadog, and system monitoring tools like CloudWatch is beneficial.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues is crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for collaboration with various audiences. Understanding of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stack is desirable. Familiarity with Jenkins, Terraform, and other similar tools is also preferred.
