Energy Systems Engineer

The successful candidate will assist in the development of project designs, working closely with the Lead Project Engineer to understand process and design needs. This includes the development and management of engineering designs and technical specifications, as well as assisting the Lead Engineer with project purchasing requirements.
Key responsibilities include developing functional and detailed specifications for projects, selecting lithium-ion phosphate batteries based on specific parameters, designing battery racks, and ensuring certification compliance.
Additionally, the role involves designing HVAC systems and calculating sizing, selecting PCS inverters based on voltage, current, and generated power, and designing AC and DC circuits, including breaker, fuse, and combiner box selection.
The ideal candidate will have experience in battery energy storage system design and deployment, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in battery energy storage system design and deployment
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy requirements
• Experience with lithium-ion battery design and deployment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
