Position Overview

Key Aspects of the Role

We are seeking an accomplished software developer with expertise in application development, support, and enhancements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team to analyze business requirements, design robust technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software aligned with organizational standards and strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement enhancements and revisions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Deliver solutions as per established timelines while ensuring adherence to organizational standards and SOPs.
  • Provide technical support to team members and stakeholders on all technical aspects of projects.
  • Maintain day-to-day system support and development for assigned systems and technologies.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, unit testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Handle full lifecycle development — design, code, test, implement, and maintain applications within time and cost constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation for all system modifications and updates.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Technical Specifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Intersystems Cache/IRIS development (10+ preferred).
  • Experience with Cache Objects and Cache Object Script.
  • Exposure to legacy MUMPS programming.
  • Experience in design and development of REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries (Intermediate level).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
  • (Preferred) Domain experience in healthcare and knowledge of HL7 standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certifications in software development (e.g., AWS, Azure).
