Job Title: Senior SAP Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior SAP Security Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a strong background in SAP Security and are passionate about delivering secure and compliant solutions.

About the Role

This role will involve designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across various platforms, including ECC, S/4 HANA, Fiori, and BW. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).

You will also apply position-based access control models where appropriate and maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements, and audit controls.

Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges. You will also support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.

Your expertise will also be utilized to monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action. Collaboration with functional, technical, and audit teams will be essential to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP IDM
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12
  • Evaluate and implement security controls to meet SoD requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues and IDM provisioning problems
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC, and IDM
  • Experience with security in ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, Fiori, and related SAP environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP security (e.g., SAP BTP)
  • SAP security certifications (highly regarded)
