Cloud Data Engineer - Snowflake Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Engineer to spearhead the implementation of our full lifecycle Snowflake platform, from secure setup and cloud integration to high-performance data pipeline development.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive at the intersection of data engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps. You will be responsible for leading Snowflake platform setup, environment provisioning, RBAC, and resource optimization.

You will also be tasked with architecting scalable, secure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and building robust CI/CD pipelines that integrate with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

In addition, you will develop ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or custom Python solutions and ingest and transform data from APIs, SaaS apps, and event streams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead Snowflake platform implementations, including setup, security, and cost optimization.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/Pulumi.
  • Develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt/Airflow/custom Python solutions.
  • Integrate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform operations.
  • 3+ years of deep Snowflake hands-on experience (performance, security, cost).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Terraform/YAML, and Git workflows.
  • Proven CI/CD and DevOps knowledge.
  • Minimum of one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) experience.
