Job Title: SAP MM Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Consultant to join our team at Avensys Consulting. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to expand their skills and contribute to the success of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and optimizing SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions. They will play a key role in managing and leading SAP MM projects, ensuring that all procurement, inventory, and logistic processes align with business objectives.


Responsibilities and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post-go live support.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
  • Design, configure, and customize SAP MM module to support procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and logistics processes.
  • Manage and optimize procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and invoice verification.
  • Oversee inventory management functions such as goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
  • Implement and configure logistics processes, including inbound and outbound deliveries, shipping, and transportation management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and WM (Warehouse Management).
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP MM, providing guidance and mentoring to junior consultants and project team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and external partners to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the SAP MM module is functioning optimally.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices.
  • Identify areas for process improvements within the SAP MM module and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations for new features and functionalities to optimize business processes.
  • SAP MM certification is a plus.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and logistics. They will also have a deep understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other modules like SAP SD, PP, and WM. Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication and leadership skills are also essential.
