Job Title: Cloud Computing Engineer Lead

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Engineer Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in cloud computing or data development and will be responsible for leading data engineering efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala), AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to build scalable ingestion and transformation workflows across cloud platforms.
  • Develop data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, and AWS Glue.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to support advanced analytics, reporting, and ML workflows.
  • Implement job orchestration, monitoring, and error handling for reliable pipeline execution.
  • Maintain and support Data Pipelines.
  • Monitor data loads and perform validation and quality checks.
  • Identify and optimize ingestion pipelines in consultation with customers.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for data issues.
  • Analyze Glue job failures and restart jobs.
  • Fix minor transformation logic or input data issues.
  • Resolve dependency failures in Glue workflows.
  • Tune job configurations.
  • Analyze impact and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
