About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to lead our inventory optimization efforts. As a Senior Inventory Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate through complex supply chain processes and identify opportunities to optimize inventory disposal mechanisms and processes.
- Interact with various teams across Supply Chain Optimization Technologies, Retail, and other Tech teams to drive impact and innovation.
- Think big and leverage existing tech solutions to scale programs while conceptualizing and building new tech solutions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in program or project management, working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams. They will also possess knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL. Additionally, they will have experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

About the Team
Our team is committed to ensuring that all inventory present in Amazon's warehouse is available for customers to purchase and that inventory not needed in the warehouse is disposed of in an optimal manner. We identify inventory stranded in the warehouse, dive deep to determine the root cause, categorize defects, partner with internal/external teams to resolve defects, and report impact/metrics.
