Scientific Graphic Designer

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Graphic Designer to join our team and combine scientific expertise with creative design skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create visually engaging abstracts that represent the essence of scientific studies.
  • Read and comprehend scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts.
  • Develop storyboards outlining the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with scientific content and objectives.
  • Design initial sketches to illustrate visual concepts, collaborating closely with researchers and clients.
  • Evaluate peers' outputs to ensure they meet client expectations.
Qualifications
  • Graduate/PhD degree in STEM fields (Biology/Biotechnology/Medicine/Chemistry/Physics/Engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing, communicating science into visually engaging output.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Experience in scientific graphic designing, medical illustrations, journal cover designs, and graphical abstract.
  • Understanding of the scientific publishing landscape.
