Role Summary

  • We are seeking an accomplished Radar Signal Processing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing, developing and implementing advanced signal processing algorithms for radar systems.
About the Role

Radar Signal Processing involves working on the design, development, integration & testing of Radar Systems for Defense, Aerospace and Communication areas. This role requires collaboration with a team of engineers and designers to enhance the performance and capabilities of radar systems.

  • The Radar Signal Processing Specialist will be responsible for designing & developing algorithms & performing analysis of complex systems involving signal processing as needed in Radar systems.
  • A good understanding of communication type architectures, waveforms & abilities to perform simulations is required.
  • Skill in developing and simulating digital signal processing blocks using MATLAB/SIMULINK tools is necessary for Receivers and Transmitters.
  • Ongoing optimization of existing algorithms for performance improvements is also a key responsibility.
  • Analysis of radar data to validate algorithm performance, use simulation tools to model and predict radar system behavior, integrate signal processing algorithms into radar systems, collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration, conduct tests and evaluations of radar systems to assess performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal processing, prepare technical documentation including design specifications, test plans and user manuals, present findings and updates to stakeholders, explore and propose new techniques to improve radar capabilities.

  • A deep understanding of radar signal processing principles and practices.
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing advanced signal processing algorithms for radar systems.
  • Strong skills in digital signal processing, communications, and mathematics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/SIMULINK tools and other relevant software.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
