Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Adeptia India Private Limited. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and applications on Azure cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

2. Deploy and manage microservices applications using containerization concepts and container engines like Docker and ContainerD.

3. Work with the DevOps team to build multi-region highly available systems and ensure faster disaster recovery.

4. Collaborate with the development team to review requirements and design documents and discuss testing scope for enhancements and fixes.

5. Use Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and set up Azure and AWS resources.

6. Work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth deployment of applications in the DEV/QA/PROD environment.

7. Monitor the performance of the Adeptia application and solution for computing, storage, database performance, and network resource utilization and performance degradation.

8. Work with the team to build and create multiple Azure and AWS services for continuous deployment of applications.

9. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system and application performance.

10. Follow Agile methodology such as Scrum, Kanban for faster and continuous delivery.

11. Work closely with the development team to review requirements and design documents and discuss testing scope for enhancements and fixes.

12. Collaborate with the development team to deploy and manage microservices applications using containerization concepts and container engines like Docker and ContainerD.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of total working experience.

- A professional with around 4+ years of experience in various roles as Cloud DevOps engineer with top-notch experience in Configuring and Deploying instances on Cloud environments and Data Centers, CI/CD tools namely Jenkins, Source Code Management (SCM) which encompasses experience in Build/Release.

- Knowledge in Java, JAR, WAR, ETL, EDI, Web Services, XML/XSL, extJS, Database Queries

- Linux/Windows Administration and configuration management and infrastructure as a code tool namely Chef, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.

- A clear understanding of Agile, Scrum Methodologies.

- 2+ Years of Expert understanding and hands-on experience of container deployment and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate. In particular AZ-104.

- Experience working as a Cloud DevOps engineer or similar within a medium or large organisation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with cloud-based disaster recovery and HA system development

- Experience on Linux and Windows Server administration.

- Knowledge in writing code PowerShell / Bash Shell.

- Knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and automation and provisioning tools (Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Terraform)

- Good knowledge of Kubernetes monitoring tools such as EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Kibana), Data dog, Prometheus and Grafana.

- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, New Relic, SolarWinds)

- Good understanding of Routing, Switching, Network protocols, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Firewalls, NGFW, NAT, IPS, Anti-malware, Botnet, Application Control, DDoS, Web Filtering, DPI, EDR, SASE

- Understanding ITSM tools like Zendesk, JIRA, etc.

- Knowledge of databases including MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle & in DB client software like DB Visualizer, SQL Server Management Studio, TOAD, etc.

- Exposure Java Software development frameworks like Spring boot etc.

- Understanding of SOC Compliance Requirements.

- Understanding of Integration Application & Services.

- Familiarity with zero trust and micro segmentation models.
