Senior AI/ML Engineer Position Overview

Lingaro's Data Science and AI Competency Center is seeking a seasoned AI/ML Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of our AI Engineering group, you will be responsible for bringing AI/ML solutions into production, automating processes, and defining reusable best practices and accelerators.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning concepts, cloud computing, and software development. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement machine learning models into production, design and implement data pipelines, and develop high-performing, scalable enterprise-grade ML/AI applications in the cloud.

  • Develop and deploy high-quality, scalable AI/ML models and applications in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with data science, data engineering, and cloud teams to implement machine learning models into production.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain industrialized processing pipelines using modern technologies.
  • Define and implement best practices in machine learning model life cycle and operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, including types of algorithms, machine learning frameworks, and model efficiency metrics.

Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, PySpark, Scala, R, and Java.

At least 6-8 years of experience in production-ready code development.

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts, and experience working with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
