Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at OFB Tech Pvt Ltd (OfBusiness). As a Senior Java Developer - Backend Architecture Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our critical backend systems. Your expertise in Java and related technologies will be instrumental in delivering high-quality features on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex backend systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain efficient and scalable database solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Implement secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain robust APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Java technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in backend software development with Java.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4j).
  • Experience with search platforms (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr).
  • Experience with building and maintaining APIs (RESTful preferred).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A passion for building high-quality software.
