Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

  We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to lead the development of new product designs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D drawings from 3D models and updating existing drawings as per design changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D drawings from 3D models using SolidWorks
  • Update existing drawings and documentation as per design changes
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with company guidelines
  • Assist engineers in preparing design documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good experience with SolidWorks Drafting and Detailing
  • Understanding of manufacturing and machining drawings
  • Knowledge of GD&T and drafting standards
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–7 years of experience in SolidWorks design

  The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and hands-on experience with sheet metal, weldments, and surface modeling. You will also be proficient in SolidWorks (part, assembly, and drawing modules) and have experience in 2-wheeler design. Additionally, you will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design for manufacturing and conduct tolerance analysis, GD&T, and prepare BOMs.
